Moloney will be responsible for the currently Horsham-based Home business, which primarily serves the cable industry, as well as overseeing other functional units within Motorola Mobility. He will
report to Dr. Sanjay Jha, Co-CEO of Motorola, Inc. and CEO of Motorola Mobility. Moloney is a long-term veteran of Motorola and before that General Instrument (which Motorola acquired in 1999). Motorola is planning to spin off Motorola Mobility, which also includes its handset business, from its other major remaining segment, Motorola Networks & Enterprise, early next year.
